Online Service & Membership Terms
1. About these terms
Document revision: buysure-commerce-2026-10-27-r3.
1.1 These terms apply to BuySure memberships and KYC/KYB purchases. RMAR uses a customer-specific quote and payment journey, not a fixed-price basket product.
1.2 "We", "us" and "BuySure" mean BuySure Trust & Insurance Services GB Ltd. "You" means the person or business buying. A "consumer" is an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
1.3 If a quote or order confirmation sets out specific terms for a service, those specific terms apply to that service and take priority over these terms where they differ.
1.4 These terms do not cover mortgage advice, insurance or any other FCA-regulated service. Those are provided under separate client documents, and no regulated advice or insurance premium is sold through the basket.
2. Who we are
2.1 BuySure Trust & Insurance Services GB Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 04747160. Registered office: Carr Farm Garden Centre, Birkenhead Road, Meols, Wirral CH47 9RE.
2.2 Contact: support@buysuretrust.com or 07811 027651.
2.3 BuySure is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Firm Reference Number 306038. This does not make all services regulated or covered by FOS or FSCS. Business-support memberships, verification and administrative RMAR support are separate from regulated advice. See our Regulatory Information and Complaints pages for scope and eligibility.
3. Your account
3.1 You must be 18 or over to buy. If you buy for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
3.2 You must give accurate details and keep them up to date in the Member Area.
3.3 Sign-in is by a secure link sent to your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. Each login is for one named person.
4. Membership and other services
4.1 Essentials, Growth and Pro give access to the digital business workspace and the tier-specific tools, resources, reports and exports described on the Membership page at the time you buy.
4.2 Membership does not include unlimited services, check credits or guaranteed support response times.
4.3 Pro members receive 10% off eligible KYC and KYB checks (£225 and £315). The discount does not apply to membership fees, RMAR or Funding Circle.
4.4 KYC and KYB checks are handled manually by BuySure using Simplified.ID. KYC concerns an individual identity within the agreed scope; KYB concerns an entity within the agreed jurisdiction and ownership scope. Additional individual or beneficial-owner checks are not automatically included. We review and securely report the agreed result, which may be passed, failed or inconclusive. A result is not a guarantee against fraud or a compliance decision. We retain verification records under our seven-year business policy, subject to the category-specific legal requirements described in the Privacy Notice. Do not email identity evidence.
4.5 RMAR. RMAR support is administrative help to organise and prepare your firm's regulatory return. It is priced by individual quote, and the quote sets out the scope. Your firm remains responsible for the accuracy and submission of its return.
4.6 Funding Circle. Business finance introductions to Funding Circle are a separate journey. BuySure is not the lender and membership does not guarantee finance.
4.7 Broker and appointed representative services require the appropriate organisation, agreements and approvals and are not sold through the basket.
5. Prices and tax
5.1 Essentials: £6.99 a month or £69.99 a year. Growth: £14.99 a month or £149.99 a year. Pro: £21.99 a month or £219.99 a year. KYC check: £250. KYB check: £350.
5.2 Prices are in pounds sterling. BuySure is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged. No other charge is added at checkout or renewal.
5.3 The price you pay is the price shown when you confirm your order, unless we change it under clause 13.
6. Monthly payment and activation
6.1 To start a monthly membership you authorise your first month's payment by card, then set up a Bacs Direct Debit. We do not take the card payment until the Direct Debit is set up and you have confirmed your billing details.
6.2 The card payment covers your first month. Your first Direct Debit pays for month two.
6.3 Membership activates only after payment and mandate verification succeed and the recurring setup is confirmed. Before final confirmation and capture we show the amount and proposed Month 2 scheduled billing date. Stripe provides separate mandate and advance collection notices under its Bacs arrangement; BuySure confirmation emails do not replace them.
6.4 The first renewal is scheduled one calendar month after activation, then monthly until cancellation. Shorter months use the last applicable day. A scheduled billing date is not a guarantee of the day funds leave your bank.
7. Annual payment and renewal
7.1 For annual membership you pay the first year by card and authorise automatic yearly card renewal at the displayed annual amount. No monthly Direct Debit is required.
7.2 We will email you between 14 and 30 days before each renewal with the renewal date, the price and how to cancel.
7.3 Consumers only: BuySure offers a voluntary cancellation and refund window for annual renewals. You may send a clear cancellation and refund request within 14 days starting on the day after your annual membership renews to support@buysuretrust.com, quoting your order reference. Our team reviews and processes the refund to the original payment method; cancelling future renewal in the Member Area does not automatically issue a refund. The starting amount is the annual renewal payment. We will not deduct for membership used unless the deduction is legally permissible, clearly disclosed and supported by any required consent. We will explain any proposed deduction and the resulting refund before processing. This voluntary window does not apply to business purchases. It does not restrict any statutory rights or replace the right to stop future renewals at any time.
7.4 If you pay monthly, we will email you a reminder of your membership, its price and how to cancel at least every six months.
8. Direct Debit and payment problems
8.1 Cancelling your Direct Debit with your bank does not cancel your membership. Please also cancel in the Member Area or by email so we know to stop.
8.2 The official Stripe Direct Debit Guarantee is available during Stripe-hosted mandate setup and through this link: Read the full official Stripe Direct Debit Guarantee. It is separate from your contractual and statutory refund rights.
8.3 Failed payments are recorded and notified. Payment recovery depends on the payment status and provider arrangements; no further paid period is granted without verified payment. We do not promise a fixed retry date or retry count.
9. If setup is not completed
9.1 If the Direct Debit is not set up, we do not take your first card payment and your membership does not start.
9.2 A card authorisation may hold funds temporarily. It lapses without payment.
9.3 If payment is received but membership is inactive, do not pay again. Contact support@buysuretrust.com so we can reconcile the payment, complete setup where possible or arrange any refund due under your rights.
9.4 We do not substitute recurring card billing for an unauthorised monthly Direct Debit.
10. Cancelling your membership
10.1 Cancel future renewals in your authenticated Member Area or by emailing support@buysuretrust.com. You do not need to call or give a reason.
10.2 We confirm your cancellation by email and tell you when your paid access ends. You keep access until then.
10.3 Apart from the consumer annual-renewal window in clause 7.3, no discretionary pro-rata membership refund is offered by default. This does not limit statutory cancellation, cooling-off, refund or other consumer rights.
11. Your statutory cancellation rights
11.1 If you are a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days after the day the contract is made, without giving a reason.
11.2 To cancel, email support@buysuretrust.com or write to our registered office with a clear statement that you are cancelling. You may use the form in clause 12 but do not have to. Your notice is in time if you send it before the 14 days end.
11.3 We refund you within 14 days of being told, to the original payment method, with no fee.
11.4 If you asked us to start a service within the 14 days, we may deduct a proportionate amount for what we supplied before you cancelled. We will ask for that request separately at checkout. Starting an ongoing service does not end your right to cancel.
11.5 For KYC/KYB bought by a consumer, payment is not consent to start work during the cooling-off period and is not a waiver of cancellation rights. BuySure must obtain the required express early-start request and information before starting early. Loss of cancellation rights on full performance requires the applicable acknowledgement and conditions. Where these are absent, statutory rights remain intact.
11.6 Separately supplied digital content, such as a downloadable report, loses the right to cancel once supplied only if you gave express consent and acknowledgement at the time. Agreeing to these terms is not that consent.
11.7 Business customers do not have these statutory cancellation rights.
11.8 Your rights for services or digital content that are faulty, not as described or not carried out with reasonable care and skill are not affected.
12. Cancellation form

(Delete as appropriate.)
13. Price changes and changes to these terms
13.1 Any proposed change to your membership price or substantive terms will be notified at least 30 days before it would affect a future payment. It does not alter a period already paid for or remove statutory rights. Your existing authorised recurring amount is not changed merely by updating a public price page.
13.2 If you do not accept a change, you may cancel before it takes effect and it will not apply to you.
13.3 Minor corrections must not reduce your rights or disadvantage you.
14. Suspension and termination by BuySure
14.1 We may suspend or end your membership if you do not pay, break these terms in a serious way, misuse the service, give false information, or if the law or a regulator requires it.
14.2 Where we can, we will warn you and give you 7 days to put things right first.
14.3 If we end your membership for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund any part of a paid period you have not used.
15. Acceptable use and your content
15.1 You must not use the workspace for anything unlawful, to upload malicious code, to access other users' data, or to share your login.
15.2 You own the content you upload. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service.
15.3 We own the workspace, its tools and our materials. You may use them for your own business while your membership is active.
16. Availability
We aim to keep the workspace available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may carry out maintenance and will give notice of planned downtime where we can.
17. Our liability
17.1 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
17.2 Consumers. We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses, as the service is for your personal use where you buy as a consumer.
17.3 Business purchases remain subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
17.4 A verification result reflects the information and documents available at the time of the check. It is not a guarantee about the person or business checked.
18. Your data
We use personal data as described in our Privacy Notice. Own-data export remains available through the existing Member Area access rules after expiry; editing and new benefits pause. ICO registration ZA022204 does not certify our data-processing practices.
19. After cancellation
When your paid period ends, editing, new reports and membership benefits stop. We keep your records as the Privacy Notice describes.
20. Complaints
20.1 Use the central Complaints page or contact complaints@buysuretrust.com, telephone 07811 027651. The published complaints route identifies the responsible contact and applicable response and escalation information.
20.2 FOS eligibility depends on the complainant, activity and jurisdiction; unregulated business support is not automatically covered. Court rights remain unaffected. Data-protection complaints can be raised with the ICO.
21. General
21.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
21.2 We may transfer our rights under these terms to another organisation, and will tell you if we do. Your rights will not be reduced. You may not transfer your membership without our agreement.
21.3 No one else has rights under these terms.
21.4 If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest continues to apply.
21.5 If we delay enforcing these terms, we can still enforce them later.
21.6 We will email you a copy of these terms with your order confirmation.
