Necessary storage
BuySure sets buysure_member for member authentication (one day), buysure_staff and buysure_broker for staff/broker authentication (one hour), and buysure_basket for a basket (up to 30 days, name configurable). These are first-party HttpOnly, SameSite cookies; HTTPS adds Secure. Optional preferences use the per-tab buysure-demo-cookie-preferences-v1 sessionStorage entry, and consented campaign labels use buysure-consented-attribution. Closing a page does not necessarily end a session.
Your choices
Optional categories start off. Accept and Reject are available with equal prominence. to revise your choice. Preferences are held in per-tab sessionStorage; browser restoration can retain a tab.
Optional attribution
With analytics consent, campaign labels may be retained for the tab and attached to enquiries or purchases. No external analytics, advertising or personalisation provider is connected by the current preference implementation. Withdrawing consent stops further optional collection; it does not automatically delete previously lawful records.
Third-party services
Stripe-hosted checkout and provider pages can use their own necessary storage.
